This is a set of three vintage etched copper plates, each featuring a stylized depiction of a rider on horseback in a minimal, linear design reminiscent of mid-century or folk art engraving. The imagery appears hand-etched and slightly varied among the three plates, giving them a handcrafted, artisanal character. Each plate measures approximately 3 inches in diameter and is made of solid copper with a naturally aged patina showing verdigris spotting, consistent with age.
The plates have flat backs with shallow lips and a warm reddish-bronze tone. The simple, stylized figure and horse motifs are similar to 1950s–1960s decorative copperware, possibly from India or the Middle East, where hand-etched copper decor was commonly produced for export.
