This is a clear pressed-glass oval relish or candy dish with a classic Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG-style) design. The bowl features a bold central floral medallion surrounded by swirling panels and textured geometric motifs, giving it lots of sparkle and pattern even in plain clear glass. At about 9 inches long, it’s a great size for relish, nuts, candies, or as a decorative catchall on a vanity or dresser.
Overall it presents nicely with light age-appropriate wear and some small scuffs and residue in the pattern that you’d expect from a vintage piece, but no major chips or cracks seen in the photos.
