This charming vintage Japanese porcelain teacup and saucer set includes six matching cups with saucers, along with two additional saucers, making a total of 6 cups and 8 saucers. Each piece is beautifully hand-painted with a yellow ground featuring colorful flowers and paired birds, framed with geometric and gilt detailing along the rims. The bases are marked with a red circular Japanese stamp, often associated with mid-20th century Kutani-style porcelain.
The set reflects a delightful blend of traditional Japanese artistry and export ware designs that became popular after WWII. The combination of raised enamel painting, gilt accents, and vibrant colors gives these pieces a distinctly collectible charm.
