OPEN TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 1-6PM
Expressive original watercolor depicting a dramatic Southwestern desert landscape with rugged mesas and rock formations beneath a broad blue and cloud-filled sky. The artist uses loose, fluid washes, strong earth tones, splattered pigment, and areas of exposed paper to create an atmospheric interpretation of the American Southwest. Signed at the lower right with an indistinct artist signature and dated 1996. The reverse of the watercolor sheet appears blank, with no visible title or additional artist information. Professionally presented under glass with a wide cream-colored mat, narrow black inner trim, and decorative black frame.
Materials: Watercolor on paper; glass; mat board; wood/composite frame; backing board
Dimensions: Approximately 23" high × 19 1/2" wide overall
Age: Dated 1996
Condition: Good pre-owned condition overall. Watercolor appears well preserved with strong color. Frame has minor surface wear consistent with age and display.
