PRINCO Brix Scale Sugar Hydrometer

Vintage laboratory Brix hydrometer set manufactured by PRINCO (Precision Instrument Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). The set includes the original wooden fitted storage case, Brix scale hydrometer, large glass testing cylinder, and laboratory thermometer. Designed for determining the sugar concentration (degrees Brix) of fruit juice, wine, maple syrup, brewing solutions, and other sugar-containing liquids. An excellent scientific instrument for collectors of laboratory equipment, brewing memorabilia, or vintage scientific apparatus.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. Original fitted wooden case shows expected wear, finish loss, and age-related marks. Glass cylinder appears free of major damage in the provided photos. Hydrometer and thermometer appear intact. The black protective cap on the hydrometer shows age and some deterioration. Calibration accuracy has not been tested and should not be assumed.
