Czech lusterware pitcher. Made in Czechoslovakia, this ceramic pitcher features a soft peach-colored iridescent glaze accented with hand-painted red and blue stripes. The high-gloss luster finish gives it a pearlescent glow, while the curvy form and pinched spout add to its Art Deco-era appeal. The underside bears the hallmark “Made in Czechoslovakia” along with the crowned lion emblem, dating it to between the 1930s and 1940s.
This pitcher is ideal for display or light functional use and makes a wonderful gift for collectors of Eastern European ceramics or lusterware pottery.
