Vintage Adams “English Scenic” Oversized Cup & Saucer — Red (Pink) Transferware, Staffordshire, England
A beautiful large breakfast/posset cup with matching saucer in the classic “English Scenic” pattern by Adams. Rich red transfer scenes show a pastoral farm with cattle, sheep and pigs before a thatched cottage, and the saucer features cows and a castle ruin within a floral border. Marked “English Scenic – Warranted Staffordshire – ADAMS – England.” A handsome display piece and lovely for cocoa or soup.
