Victorian Davenport desk dates from the mid-to-late 19th century (circa 1860–1880) and is crafted from rich mahogany with walnut burl accents. It features a sloped leather writing surface that lifts to reveal storage compartments and cubbies, while the right side holds a column of four dovetailed drawers with original turned knobs and inset locks. The left side contains faux drawer fronts for visual balance. The carved scroll supports and gallery crest rail, complete with finials and openwork, lend a refined and distinctly Victorian presence.
