Charming small copper-luster pitcher with a warm metallic glaze, narrow studded bands at the shoulder and base, and a tan/ochre mid-band hand-decorated with sponge/brush motifs in rust and orange. Classic baluster form with a petite pouring lip and loop handle, an attractive example of 19th-century English lusterware that displays beautifully on a shelf or with a jug collection.
